Monday 9th February 2026 - 'The Psychology of Our Need to Garden'.

Beverley has worked in Horticulture for over 30 years in various ways, including as
a horticultural advisor at RHS Wisley. She is now a horticultural consultant. Her particular
passion is sustainable gardening practice and moving gardeners towards coping better with
the challenges of climate breakdown.

Her talk to the Midhurst Garden Club on Monday 9 February will be ‘The Psychology of our
Need to Garden'. It is surprising how much psychology is involved in gardening. She has
experienced diverse areas of horticulture, all of which feed into the unique ideas, inspiration, and advice she can offer.
